DIARY OF A TAROT READER
By Anna of Liscard-based Predictions .
Every once in a while , when the moon is bright blue in the heavens , something happens and I think , ‘ wow , just wow !’
We all know about synchronicity , events and experiences too significant to be random in nature , but what follows is a fantastic example of just how much pathways can vary – how one pathway can lead us in a particular direction , whilst another can take us somewhere vastly different . Like standing at a crossroads or in a room with a number of different doors ; whichever way you go will inevitably come with its own special set of consequences …
My lovely little friend Lizzie ( a fellow tarot reader with a gift passed on to her from her mum ) came to see me earlier this year . As with so many people , the pandemic had caused her to reassess her values and beliefs , and opened her mind to a possible new way of life .
With Scottish blood coursing through her veins and family members ready to welcome her back north of the border , was this perhaps the time for her to bid farewell to Wirral and return to her roots , to the land of the single malt and the double measure ?!
Scotland is certainly a wonderful place , ideal for new chapters and broad horizons , for leaving crisp new footprints in the snow , but everything was saying to me that what she was looking for was actually much closer to her home in Wirral – a decent man who would love her and care for her . Someone special .
I shared my thoughts with Lizzie and she left with my reading ringing loudly in her ears . Clearly , she had some deep thinking to do and some serious choices to make – choices that would doubtless impact on the rest of her life .
Today , I saw Lizzie again , and she ’ d made that big decision – tempting though the move to bonny Scotland was , she was going to stay in Wirral ; and what ’ s more , just a few weeks after she ’ d taken this decision , Callum suddenly walked into her life …
This was a major development , of course , but what they didn ’ t realise when they first met was that they weren ’ t actually strangers ! Oh , no . Their paths had crossed before !
You see , Lizzie is a twin who was born prematurely , and Callum is also a twin , also born prematurely . As destiny would have it , they were in the same hospital in the same unit at the same time , along with their respective twins !
What can I say except that fate has a funny way of making itself known , a strange kind of handshake .
Wishing this lovely couple all of the love and the luck for the future .
Until next time . Anna
