TINY STARS NEONATAL APPEAL RELAUNCHED AT SPRING LUNCH
The first event of the year hosted by Mandy Molby and WUTH Charity was held on Tuesday 26th April at the Little Fox Thornton Hough , who generously donated the venue and catering for the afternoon . The event , in aid of the Tiny Stars Neonatal appeal raised £ 6500 and officially relaunched the appeal after it was paused in March 2020 . 85 guests attended the event .
Local author Gina Kirkham gave an exciting insight into her experiences becoming a published author and her latest book ‘ Murders at the Winterbottom WI .’
Victoria Burrows Head of Fundraising for Arrowe Park Hospital said " I ’ d like to give special thanks to event sponsors Natasha & David Green of The Red Fox for their generous donation of the wonderful venue and meals and also to Gina Kirkham for her time and special preview of her new book . We have also been generously supported by Book sponsor Karina Molby , Molby the Label , Claire Barclay , The Handmade Gin company , Wirral Life , Yaffee Photography , Sarah White & Jacqui Baxter and many more . We had a wonderful day and it was a perfect way to relaunch our appeal to raise £ 1.5million for the Neonatal Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital . I ’ m thrilled that Mandy also accepted the role of Charity ambassador at the event ."
Mandy who is a real stalwart for the Charity and the Neonatal appeal said “ I am really touched to be asked to be ambassador . Arrowe Park Hospital has saved my life more than once and I am glad I can help give back . I love working with the Charity , I feel like one of the team now !”
Also in attendance at the event representing the Executive team and Charitable Funds Committee was Dr Nikki Stevenson , Medical Director and Deputy CEO , Debs Smith , Chief People Officer and Sally Sykes , Director of Communications and Engagement .
