LINGHAMS BOOK SIGNINGS Linghams Booksellers in Heswall hosted a number of book signings this month. Authors included Milly Johnson, Helen Cullen, Christy Leftari and Colin Butcher. Sue at Linghams said: "We were delighted to host the book signings. Helen Cullen, debut Irish author of the Lost Letters of William Wolf came along to talk about love, relationships and letter detectives! She talked about where her love of words came from and how the book has been optioned for a TV Series. "Christy Leftari, who is the daughter of Cypriot refugees, spoke about her real life experiences and characters she met whilst working as a volunteer in Athens, which her book The Beekeeper of Aleppo is based on. She chatted about Syria, refugees and how when two people are lost sometimes they can find each other again. "Colin Butcher, author of Molly and Me, came to Heswall with adorable Molly ace cat finder! Colin is an ex detective inspector who now owns a pet detective agency. We had a fun evening with Molly reminding us she was there for the book talk too. "And Milly Johnson, author of The Magnificent Mrs Mayhew, came along to read from her fun, lighthearted book.
