ALL SAINTS CHURCH - 150TH
JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
A typical English day in a typical English
setting. All Saints Church celebrated their
150th Jubilee on a gloriously sunny day in
Thornton Hough.
The fine weather brought out the families to
join in the celebrations, and of course the
home-made cakes and hog roast.
Some even got into the spirit of the era in
Victorian dress, with Vicar, Daniel Howard,
doing a passable imitation of Sherlock
Holmes…
Attendees were entertained by the Wirral
Symphonic Wind Band, who played on under
the hot sun, and were impressed by the Harley-
Davidson Riders, who looked cool whatever
the weather.
The beautiful church was adorned with a
stunning display of flowers coordinated by
Carolyn Lancelyn Green, depicting the history
of the church. A big thank you to everyone that
took part in a fantastic day.
