THE BIG REVEAL... Whitfield are divorcing the two very different parts of their business, separating Whitfield Business Hub from Whitfield Business Support. something to exude the four-main skill sets they combine; tech, creativity, media and business mixed with their rebel personality. The Hub has a straight forward business model, providing serviced offices to companies who require flexible, no commitment, working space & reception services. Nik explained, “The new name & brand will be representing us; we’re an eclectic & diverse blend of creative designers, clever techies & imaginative marketeers. When we speak to new clients or attend conferences & tech festivals, ‘Whitfield Business Support’ just sounds a bit dull”. The Support side is a creative & digital agency who provide a wide range of outsourced peripheral services, such as websites, graphics, marketing & pretty much anything that a business needs to allow the owners to concentrate on their core business. The Hub will keep the Whitfield name & branding but directors Nik & Justine were keen to completely rebrand the agency side to align it with their ethos & culture. The Hub is a traditional business whereas the Support arm has a young, energetic & maverick approach. For such a creative company, the fundamental objective was to find a name that represents who they are and what they do. As arguably one of the most unorthodox companies on the Wirral this was a quite a challenge. They needed Justine added “Our old name just didn’t really do us justice. We’re very keen at adopting emerging tech and using it to augment business processes plus we’re a vibrant bunch of left field thinkers. We wanted our brand to encompass that”. After much pontification, inspirational expeditions & the occasional bottle of wine, Nik & Justine feel that they have unearthed the perfect name. The branding will now cascade from the name & will be exclusively revealed in next month’s Wirral Life. 0151 342 6365 www.whitfieldbusiness.co.uk [email protected] wirrallife.com 85
