RESIDENTS AT LEAR HOUSE HAVE BEEN KEEPING BUSY OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS
Residents at Abbeyfield , Lear House in West Kirby have been kept entertained with a number of events organised by the team .
Ailsa Wright , General Manager said : " We marked St Patrick ’ s Day with a glass of Guinness and an Irish quiz and for St George ’ s Day , a sing along and scones with jam and cream .
" To celebrate Easter , everyone received an Easter Egg from the Rotary Club of Heswall – chocolate is always popular ! and residents spent an afternoon decorating cupcakes – lots of concentration and some great results !
" Regular music performances on the balcony continue with plenty of opportunity to sing along and shake a tambourine !
" At the end of April , one of our staff members , Lucie , celebrated her birthday and everyone joined in for an afternoon of cakes , a glass of wine and some music .
" Aside from the events , we are delighted to be able to offer more opportunities for family members to visit our residents and we also continue to support those with relatives further afield with video calls ."
