STORIES FROM A TAROT READER
by Anna at Predictions , Liscard
It ’ s with the family ’ s permission I can share this story with you . I ’ ve sent this over to them and they have confirmed that this is a true and frank account of what took place the night I met this family and what took place that evening ...
Some things just happen . No rhyme , no reason , they just happen . I was watching an open circle one evening and I was making a coffee waiting for the circle to be over and lock up as it had been a long day . I was about to walk back to my room when something made me scan the circle . It was busy that evening , lots of people looking for comfort or those just curious as to what it was all about . But there was something about the man I was drawn to , I hadn ’ t met him before , he was just a face in the circle but I felt as if I knew everything about him . The strange thing was I wasn ’ t part of that circle . It ' s not my area as I ’ m tarot to my core , but I knew I had a message for this man and I knew it was the one he was waiting for .
I took my coffee over and found a seat . I gestured to the lady who was taking the circle that I intended to join and she indicated it was ok and carried on giving messages with her oracle cards to the people who had selected one .
When the oracle cards finished , the lady hosting asked did anybody have anything to add ? I asked the gentleman , Bill , if I could come to him . It came like a flood gate ! I told him his father was Joseph , he ’ d been a prisoner of war camp in Poland in 1945 , he ’ d endured a hard life already only to find himself incarcerated in what the history books describe as hell . But somewhere inside him was a young man with fight still in his heart . I saw an image in my head of his arm with those barbaric tattoos that they used to brand those poor souls and dehumanise them . But I knew this was stereotypical of the conditions in those camps . What was the one thing I could find that wasn ’ t stereotypical that wasn ’ t ' the norm '? That only Bill ' s father would know ? Then I saw another picture . A group of young men ragged and torn but still bravely fighting . I watched as they ambushed a Nazi guard as there camp was being liberated . “ We killed him ” was all I heard . I repeated the whole thing to Bill .
Now Bill and his daughter Jen ( who was also there that night ) just looked at me . Then Bill said softly : " My father was Polish , as a young man he was placed in a concentration camp but survived , and came to England and raised his family . He rarely spoke of the horrors he ’ d seen or the families lost forever to those chambers . But one thing Joseph did confide to his family was they were going down fighting . They didn ’ t know they were being liberated , they didn ’ t know they would survive . Joseph had already confided that he had overpowered and killed the Nazi guard . Bill already knew the story , a private personal family story of bravery , cruelty , tragedy and loss . But I didn ’ t .
So that night was it a message from father to son to reassure him of his soul survival and his place in heaven , or a weird meeting of my tired mind ? I believe the former .
