RACE FOR LIFE
More than 2000 people took part in this year's Race
for Life at Birkenhead Park, raising more than
£82,000 for Cancer Research UK.
This year, for the first time, women, men and children
could take part in both events.
Jenny Eccleson who took part in the race said: "Cancer
has effected many of my friends; and I wanted to show
my support. This is the first year I've been involved,
and I wanted to help raise lots of money for the
charity."
