REVOLUTION 4 : COLLABORATION 2 The collaboration in Formula One between engineers, engine, manufacturers, tyre producers, software companies and many other suppliers is incredible. The overall effect is a team far greater than the sum of their parts. The same is true in business. One simply cannot be an expert in all aspects of business and in any case, why should you? Ask any entrepreneur or business leader & they will (possibly reluctantly) tell you of their achilles heel. Could be accountancy, technology, marketing; aspects of their business which are like a ball & chain around their progress, distractions from what they’re really good at doing. This is where the team at Revolution Four have seen an opportunity to collaborate with businesses across the UK. Partnering with companies, understanding their requirements & becoming an extension of their firm is where the R4 team excel. Founder Nik Ellis explained “A company could approach us with a budget to build a website. We could happily do a lovely job, bank the cheque & walk away, job done. However, we would rather understand why they want a website in the first place, what are they trying to achieve & what are their expectations.” ensure visitors - the same as the best book in the world is not going to sell if it sits on a back shelf in the bookshop.” The team allow a business to concentrate on what they do best, whilst they look after the peripheral functions & how they interact and perform with the rest of the company. Nik said “The digital world is incredibly easy to adjust according to business needs provided that communication flows well. A typical example being a website designed to sell products that’s doing so well that the company can’t keep up with demand. Sounds like a great problem to have, but over-selling can lead to poor customer service, overworked staff & costly mistakes. In this case the company needs to recruit quickly. We can remodel the messages across their social media and website optimising them to support the recruitment campaign.” So just like a Formula One team all have to work in conjunction with each other, Revolution Four have found that the key to success is to collaborate and communicate rather than a simply go for a cold sale.
