WHITFIELD BUSINESS CELEBRATES IT’ S SECOND YEAR
Whitfield Business recently celebrated their second year, so we caught up with directors Nik Ellis & Justine McLaughlin to find out what’ s been happening at the Hub.
Heswall based Whitfield Business, provides serviced offices( rooms rented on an hourly, daily or monthly basis for a single fee that covers everything), telephone answering services and mailboxes, in addition to business support. Founded by Nik & Justine in 2015, Whitfield Business allows smaller businesses to present a professional, large image, have reception services akin to a large company and the flexibility to come & go without commitment. It’ s a thriving hive of activity allowing individuals to engage with each other, either professionally or just for a chat in the coffee shop.
Nik & Justine set up the business support side of the company to provide an outsourcing solution to help the various businesses using the Hub. Their business model is simple; they provide all the services essential to the running of a company, allowing owners to concentrate on their core business function. The demand for their services quickly grew beyond the Heswall base and they now have regular clients throughout the Wirral and beyond.
Nik said“ Most small businesses don’ t need full time people to do marketing, IT, social media, accounts etc- so we manage these functions on their behalf- allowing the owner to focus on what they do best, without stressing about all these essential responsibilities. Taking an holistic approach to helping a business allows Whitfield to provide a very cost effective solution.”
Justine said,“ Rather than hopping around several different suppliers, the entire support of a business can be done in-house, ensuring costs are controlled. We ensure brand consistency to give a professional image across websites, social media, stationery, signs, advertising; anywhere & everywhere.”
Their passion to help businesses grow has allowed them to expand. Nik said“ We’ re an unorthodox company, with a highly creative and buzzing environment. We work smart and play hard- if we need to finish a project, or help a client with a sudden problem, we’ re happy to work late into the night.”
Nik & Justine seem to enjoy life outside the Hub too. They regularly attend local events, get heavily involved in Wirral charities and they even have a regular company ski weekend each winter. Wirral Life wish them every success for the future!
