RESIDENTS AT LEAR HOUSE ENJOY THE FESTIVITIES
Residents at Lear House have had a busy and entertaining December enjoying the Christmas festivities .
Aisla Wright , Manager at Abbeyfield said : " We took part in a gingerbread house competition run by Abbeyfield nationally . As well as making a house we also had fun making the people to go inside it ! Everyone enjoyed being creative and putting their own creative twist on their gingerbread person !
" The residents also spent several afternoons making Christmas cards for the staff to say thank you for looking after them during the year .
" It was the end of term in our French lessons so everyone got a certificate and a gift from our wonderful teacher Barbara .
" As always there was lots of music during the month including our Christmas party and a celebration on Christmas Eve .
" Residents also enjoyed a performance of ‘ Aladdin ’ by a two woman theatre company – it was a fun afternoon with lots of laughs , great characters and a singalong at the end of the performance ."
