At 16, Tom landed a job at Nigel Haworth's Northcote Manor, scooping Young Chef of the Year in 2011 and becoming the restaurant's youngest ever Sous Chef at just 21. He went on to take the reins at The White Swan in Fence, and in October 2018, won his first Michelin Star, which he retained in 2019. Next up is: TOMMY HEANEY First Englishman to hold 3 Michelin stars on Wednesday 29th January 2020. Steven is a Master of Culinary Arts. He was the first Englishman to hold and run a three Michelin Star restaurant, at Le Gavroche. Steven joined Albert Roux’s iconic Le Gavroche as a Commis Chef, working his way up to become Albert’s sous chef. He was head chef for four years, maintaining the incredibly high standards needed, until Michel Roux Jr took over from him. A genuine culinary legend Steven became only the fifth chef in the country to win the Master of Culinary Arts award in 1991. Only twenty chefs have been awarded the title to date. KUBA WINKOWSKI Great British Menu finalist on Wednesday 22nd January 2020. Originally from a small town called Crumlin outside of Belfast, Tommy is one of the country’s more recent culinary stars. Tommy cut his culinary teeth in the US, before venturing to Australia and Thailand, returning to the UK for a brief stint under Richard Corrigan and latterly David Everitt-Matthias. A regular on the small screen he opened his first restaurant, Heaney's, in Cardiff in October 2018 and launched his second standalone venture Uisce earlier this year. He joined The Feathered Nest Country Inn – not too far from Le Manoir – as sous chef.
