WEST KIRBY COMES TOGETHER FOR CHRISTMAS LIGHTS FUNDRAISER
It was an evening of fantastic food, entertainment and community spirit as 75 local residents gathered at Andres Restaurant for a special fundraising event in support of the West Kirby Christmas Lights. The evening was organised by Alisha and Pete Butler, owners of Phoenix Solicitors, who brought together residents and local businesses to help ensure West Kirby continues to sparkle throughout the festive season.
Guests were welcomed with a glass of prosecco before enjoying a three course meal, with Andres Restaurant generously donating £ 10 from every ticket sold towards the fundraising total. Live entertainment from singer Tricia McTeague and a local magician added to the atmosphere, creating an evening filled with music, laughter and plenty of memorable moments. Local Councillor Jennifer Johnson was also among those attending and showing her support for the event.
A highlight of the evening was the raffle, made possible by the generosity of businesses from across West Kirby, who donated a fantastic selection of prizes. Their support played an important part in the success of the fundraiser and reflected the strong community spirit found throughout the town.
By the end of the evening, an impressive £ 1,500 had been raised towards the West Kirby Christmas Lights. The total was made possible by everyone who purchased tickets, donated prizes and supported the event.
Alisha and Pete were delighted with the turnout and the generosity shown by local residents and businesses. The evening was a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a community comes together for a shared cause, helping to keep West Kirby shining brightly this Christmas.
