LOCAL LEGENDS TAKE TO THE CREASE FOR CHARITY
Neston Cricket Club played host to another fantastic fundraising event in support of The Tim Cogley Foundation, bringing together local sporting legends, supporters and the wider community for a memorable day.
Former Liverpool and Everton stars Jan Molby and Paul Ince captained the two sides in what proved to be a closely fought match, with Jan’ s team eventually taking the victory.
The day began with a roast dinner in the clubhouse before guests headed outside for an afternoon of cricket, food and entertainment. Pizzas were served by The Dough Bros, while an outside bar added to the relaxed atmosphere throughout the event. The cricket kits were kindly sponsored by Randox Health, who are also charity partners of The Tim Cogley Foundation, continuing their support for the charity’ s important work.
Thanks were also extended to Neston Cricket Club for hosting the event, along with everyone who attended, donated, bought raffle tickets, contributed prizes or supported the day in any way. It was another brilliant occasion for an important local cause, helping to raise awareness and support for the Foundation and the vital work it continues to carry out across the community.
