INSPIRING WOMEN WIRRAL: A SEASON OF GROWTH, CELEBRATION AND EXTRAORDINARY ACHIEVEMENTS
by Shirleyann Haig, Founder of Inspiring Women Wirral
As we step further into 2026, Inspiring Women Wirral continues to go from strength to strength, and honestly, it’ s becoming quite difficult to keep up with the level of brilliance in the room each month. What started as a supportive network has evolved into a powerful community of women who are not only building businesses, but lifting each other as they rise.
This season has been packed with inspiring guest speakers, meaningful connections, and powerful reminders of what happens when women come together with intention.
Our recent line-up of guest speakers has been nothing short of exceptional. We were joined by the incredibly knowledgeable Lynn Marsland, HR expert, who delivered a practical and eye-opening session on the upcoming changes to employment law. For many of our female founders, navigating the legal landscape can feel overwhelming, but Lynn broke it down in a way that was both accessible and empowering. She highlighted key changes business owners need to be aware of, ensuring our members feel confident, compliant, and prepared as they grow their teams.
We then welcomed the fabulous Victoria Quance, a psychospiritual manifestation coach whose energy and authenticity lit up the room. Victoria shared her personal journey with honesty and depth, offering insight into how mindset, alignment and belief systems can transform not only businesses, but lives. Her work focuses on helping women step into the best version of themselves, and it’ s safe to say she left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
And as if that wasn’ t enough, we were also joined by the amazing Jackie Fairweather, founder of Healthy Habitz. Jackie’ s passion for supporting women to reclaim their health, happiness and hormone balance truly resonated with our community. Her approach is grounded, realistic and much needed in a world where women are often expected to do everything while running on empty. She reminded us that success means very little without wellbeing, and that prioritising ourselves is not a luxury, but a necessity.
Beyond our events, we have had so much to celebrate within our community. A huge congratulations goes out to the many Inspiring Women members who made it to the finals of the Womanifest Awards. Seeing so many of our women recognised for their hard work, passion and impact has been incredibly special. We also had several runners-up within the group, which is a testament to the strength, resilience and talent that exists within this network.
Another exciting milestone is the completion of Limitless Volume 2, our third collaborative book in the Inspiring Women collection. This latest edition features 10 incredible authors, each sharing their unique journey into business, highlighting the courage, challenges and determination it takes to build something from the ground up.
The book will be published on Amazon on 8th May 2026, and we are already planning a fantastic launch celebration to mark the occasion. Projects like this don’ t happen in isolation, and I want to take a moment to recognise Estelle Maher from Tauk Publishing, whose support and expertise have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life. Her guidance has helped turn ideas into something tangible, impactful and lasting.
On a more personal note, I’ d also like to thank Korina Venn Karagiannakis, who has been helping me declutter and create space, not just physically but mentally too. As many business owners will understand, clarity and organisation are often the foundations for growth, and her support has been invaluable.
We were also proud to showcase our Inspiring Women book collection at the Liverpool Book Festival, which proved to be a huge success. Seeing our stories displayed, shared and celebrated on such a platform was a powerful moment for everyone involved, and a reminder of how far we’ ve come.
Looking ahead, our mission remains the same: to create a welcoming, inclusive and empowering space for women in business. Our meetings will continue to take place on the third Monday of every month in Heswall, hosted at either Voisin or Vecino. Whether you’ re at the very beginning of your journey or already running a thriving business, you will be welcomed with open arms.
Because at the heart of Inspiring Women Wirral is something simple but powerful, women supporting women, without competition, without judgement, and with a shared belief that there is more than enough success to go around.
And judging by this year so far, we’ re only just getting started.
