A SEASON OF SMILES AT LEAR HOUSE
Residents at Lear House enjoyed a busy February with lots of activities and entertainment.
Ailsa Wright, manager at Abbeyfield said ' We marked Valentine’ s Day with an afternoon of music from the wonderful Sandra Currie and a special appearance from the Valentine Bear who had a rose for everyone! Friends and family joined us for a fun afternoon ending with homemade shortbread hearts!
' We had a flipping great time on Pancake Tuesday trying our hand at tossing a pancake!( Please note that both the pancake and the pan were cold).
' Our music sessions have continued with a fun afternoon spent with Andrew and Marko. They always bring us a wonderful variety of music and poetry as well as a range of musical instruments!
' Our Music and Movement sessions with Caroline are a lot of fun – all our favourite music and lots of activity.'
