A SEASON OF SMILES AT LEAR HOUSE
Residents at Lear House enjoyed a busy period, filled with a wide range of fun and engaging activities.
Everyone particularly enjoyed meeting the gorgeous Fudgecake the Shetland Pony from Jessie’ s Party and Therapy Ponies. He visited the lounge to meet residents and clearly relished all the attention he received, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone present.
Residents also took part in two afternoons of Music and Movement with the wonderful Jess from Popcats. Favourite songs were played, encouraging residents to sing, move and dance together, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.
As the festive season approached, residents were kept busy preparing for Christmas. Decorations were made for the Christmas Tree Festival at St Hildeburgh’ s Church in Hoylake, and there was great excitement around a full programme of seasonal activities, including live music, a pantomime, a visit from a local dance school and a silk flower workshop.
Reflecting on the activities, Alisa Wright, Manager at Abbeyfield, said:“ It was lovely to see residents so engaged and enjoying such a variety of activities. These shared experiences bring so much joy and really strengthen our sense of community as we move into the festive season.”
