THE SHINE AWARDS 2025 CELEBRATE WORKPLACE WELLBEING CHAMPIONS AND RAISE FUNDS FOR NACOA UK
The SHINE Awards 2025 made their Aintree Racecourse debut last week, bringing together more than 300 guests to celebrate workplace wellbeing. Now in its second year, the UK’ s first purpose-driven, alcohol-free workplace wellbeing awards ceremony delivered an unforgettable evening of recognition, entertainment, and impact- timed perfectly ahead of World Mental Health Day.
Hosted by Steps Together in partnership with Claritee, the event honoured eight outstanding organisations from across the UK, each demonstrating innovation, compassion, and commitment to employee wellbeing. Congratulations to this year’ s SHINE Awards winners, including standout organisations Bentley Motors, The Inkey List and Sobriety Society BUPA, recognised for their exceptional contributions to workplace wellbeing. Other inspiring winners included AF Club, Stable Lives, Fedcap, Shoorah, and Ripple.
Guests enjoyed a vibrant evening that began with a red-carpet welcome and a captivating entrance orchestra, followed by inspiring speeches, powerful choir performances, and heartfelt moments- all delivered by local community groups from across the North West, reflecting the event’ s deep connection to grassroots wellbeing initiatives.
A particularly moving highlight came when the audience rallied behind the evening’ s chosen charity, NACOA UK( The National Association for Children of Alcoholics), with funds still trickling in to support children and families affected by parental drinking.
The atmosphere was electric as industry leaders, wellbeing advocates, and celebrity supporters came together for a shared cause. Familiar faces in attendance included Calum Best, Lystra Adams, Sheena Lynch, Dean Gaffney, Danielle Broadbent and more, each lending their support to champion workplace wellness and NACOA’ s vital mission.
