Wild Inn Pit Stop: The Espresso Martini with a Kick
Introducing the Pit Stop Espresso Martini— our bold, rum-infused twist on the classic espresso martini. Born from our love of coffee and rum, we set out to create the perfect balance between the two. The key? Exceptional coffee.
To achieve this, we turned to our friends at Elephant Roasters, who crafted a bespoke coffee blend designed specifically for our cocktail. After countless tastings and refinements, we landed on the perfect mix— Pit Stop, a rich and robust blend of Colombian, Brazilian, and Mexican beans. With notes of toffee, chocolate, and almond, this blend brings a deep, fullbodied flavour that pairs seamlessly with our signature ingredients.
Each week, we receive freshly roasted batches of Pit Stop, ensuring every sip of our espresso martini delivers maximum flavor. Love the taste? You can purchase our coffee directly from Wild Inn in 2kg tins or 700g bags to enjoy at home.
The Perfect Pour
Our Pit Stop Espresso Martini is a decadent combination of: Kraken Dark Rum – a bold, spiced base, Disaronno – adding a smooth, almond sweetness, Double Espresso – featuring our signature Pit Stop blend, Vanilla Syrup – for a touch of warmth and depth, Angostura Orange Bitters – balancing the flavors with a citrus twist

Measurements: Kraken Dark Spiced Rum 35ml, Kahlua 15ml, Diaronno 10ml, Vanilla Syrup 10 ml, Double Espresso & 2 dashes of Angostura Orange Bitters
Method: Pour all spirits into a cocktail shaker, add ice, pour the double espresso over the ice and shake very well. Strain back into the cocktail shaker removing the ice and then give it a short dry shake. Double strain into a martini glass
Cocktail of the Month: West Kirby Iced Tea
The West Kirby Iced Tea, our signature cocktail, has been a beloved favourite for six years. Crafted by Liam and Sean Wilding( Brothers & Owners of the WILD INN), this unique creation was borne out of a desire to develop a cocktail that would not only stand out in West Kirby but also embody the essence of the town.
As our first original cocktail, we experimented with numerous variations of available spirits to achieve a balanced flavour profile that was neither too sweet, sour or overly alcoholic. We decided to reinvent a classic, the Long Island Iced Tea, and thus, the West Kirby Iced Tea was created. Since its creation in September 2018, this cocktail has been sold over 7,500 times, making it our best-selling cocktail. The West Kirby Iced Tea is a tropical and eccentric twist on the classic Long Island Iced Tea, perfectly aligning with the vibrant style and atmosphere of the WILD INN. The cocktail features a harmonious blend of Absolut Raspberri Vodka, Gordon ' s Pink Gin, Old J Cherry Spiced Rum, Tequila Reposado, and Passoa Passion Fruit Liqueur, complemented by fresh lemon juice, sugar syrup, and a lemonade top. This innovative cocktail not only represents our commitment to quality and creativity but also serves as a testament to the collaborative spirit and dedication of our team. The West Kirby Iced Tea continues to be a symbol of our passion for mixology and our connection to the community.
Measurements: 15ml Gordon’ s Pink Gin, 15ml Old J Cherry Rum, 15ml Absolut Raspberri Vodka, 15ml Tequila Reposado, 20ml Passoa, 25ml Fresh Lemon Juice, 25 ml Sugar Syrup, Lemonade Top
Garnish: raspberries, Pink Grapefruit Slice & a strawberry
Method: Measure and pour all spirits into a cocktail shaker along with the fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup. Add ice and shake well, pour into a hurricane glass over ice. Top up the glass with Lemonade and then add your garnish.
Drink and enjoy.
Garnish: 3 coffee beans. Enjoy!
