Shirleyann , your journey is inspiring . Can you tell us how you became The Ethical Passive Income Coach ? Thank you ! My journey has been anything but conventional . Growing up on a council estate in Liverpool , I had to work hard for everything I achieved . I climbed the corporate ladder , excelling in sales and coaching , but always had a passion for property investment . Over 20 years , I built a thriving property portfolio while working a high-pressure job .
Then life threw me a curveball . During the pandemic , I lost my six-figure salary , faced a divorce , and had to support my two neurodivergent children , who were excluded from school . It was a defining moment when I realised the true value of passive income . My property investments became my safety net , allowing me to rebuild my life without losing everything I had worked for . That experience motivated me to help others create financial stability , regardless of their circumstances , and led to my role as The Ethical Passive Income Coach .

I also founded Inspiring Women Wirral , a network of female entrepreneurs who support each other in their business journeys . It ’ s a vibrant community that empowers women to achieve their goals , often through flexible , innovative solutions that work around family and life commitments . Lastly , I ’ m deeply proud of Inspiring Minds Group CIC , a community interest company focused on supporting vunerable groups and neurodiverse families . Through this initiative , we raise funds for educational projects , books , and resources to help families thrive .
