Wirral Life Awards winning husband and wife team Moyo and Jana have combined their expertise and years of culinary experience to offer a refreshing and relaxed approach to modern dining . Moyo and his team have created an excellent reputation at Nova that has now grown for 13 years and will continue to do so , not just within the kitchen but also with their outside catering business ' Nova The Outsiders '. Bringing outstanding level of expertise and delighting guests at weddings , special occasions and even in their homes .
Moyo is classically trained in the art of French cuisine yet adding his own unique style and identity to his dishes using locally and carefully sourced ingredients . There are a major number of ' moves ' on every plate as you would expect from such artistry , but he likes to deliver that private detail upon personal serving .
Starters Beetroot , squash and lentil spring roll , cranberry jelly . Prawn cocktail ‘ 99 ’ – classic flavours in a spring roll pastry cone . Mains Venison loin , beetroot puree and puy lentils .
Fillet of cod with a herb crust and cranberry winterslaw and Asian mayonnaise .
Belly pork , rib , pork beignet , apple and vegetable stir fry finished with hoisin gel .
Desserts Lemon posset with homemade baked doughnut . Chocolate fondant tart , baileys ice cream and berry compote .
If you ' ve not been , you really must , this is a jewel of the finest quality in Wirral ' s crown ! For food of such taste , beauty and attention to detail , you would presume a much higher price . Well , we were really surprised by how reasonable it is . It ' s not just for special occasions , although every time you feel that little bit special .
A major well done to Moyo and his carefully cultivated hand picked team of specialists that are completely changing Wirral ' s culinary landscape .
