Wirral music festival brings top names to community venues as well as showcasing local talent across Borough of Culture 2024 .
Wirral Chamber Music Festival is making its ambition a reality : to bring in top classical names to Wirral ' s community venues . This summer the festival showcased superstars and local stars , and featured artists ranging from international opera star Jennifer Johnston to genre-leading folk group Kabantu , whilst also celebrating Wirral ’ s finest composers and young performers .
As always , children went free to every event and this year £ 1 for every ticket sold went to Age UK Wirral .
The festival feels especially proud to be able to present the wealth of musical talent here on our doorstep . Not only that , but with the community ’ s and the sponsors ’ support it can continue to attract artists from all over the country to play for audiences all over Wirral .
