LIVERPOOL LADIES NETWORK SPRING LUNCH
Liverpool Ladies Network ( LLN ) hosted its Spring lunch on 25th April at the iconic Royal Liver Building . The after-lunch panel event was on Female-led businesses : Liverpool success stories .
The panel event , hosted by Lindsey Moore founder of Agnes Marketing and LLN Chair , included panelists Beth Wainwight , Founder and CEO of Boosted Boob Tape , Katherine Jones , Founder of ThinK Wine Group , Ann- Louise Gilmore , Director of G & S Transport , Andrea Kelly , Corporate Relationship Director at NatWest , and Iona Thomson , Client Director and Help To Grow Programme Director at University of Liverpool Management School .
Beth , Katherine and Ann-Louise spoke with honesty , openness and passion about their personal stories and experiences - their highs and lows - of setting up and scaling up a business . The commitment , determination and entrepreneurial mindset of these women came over loud and clear to the room of 75 female professionals from across the region .
Andrea Kelly ( NatWest ) and Iona Thomson ( University of Liverpool , Help To Grow Programme ), who have supported and advised hundreds of female-led businesses between them shared their personal insights , research and statistics around female-led businesses which sparked much discussion amongst the panel . The positive impact of education and peer support on business growth was strongly evidenced .
The University of Liverpool Help To Grow Programme and NatWest Accelerator are currently open for applications . Both programmes are heavily funded and provide education , peer support , and mentoring . www . liverpoolladiesnetwork . co . uk
