Inspired by the elegant charm of a classic Italian ristorante with a contemporary buzz and a modern , stylish interior , Gusto Italian brings the true " taste and enjoyment " of Italy to it ' s guests .
Priding themselves on the basic philosophy of provenance . This means sourcing responsibly , seeking out suppliers who use traditional , sustainable and natural methods of husbandry to provide the best and freshest produce available . The menu focuses on freshly prepared classic and contemporary Italian dishes featuring an excellent range of pizza , pasta , seafood and meats .
Gusto Italian , Heswall , is situated on the main street of the busy , bustling village , sitting along side a wide variety of shops and just a short stroll from the quieter and quaint lower village .
The restaurant and bar has a fabulous sun terrace on which to dine or simply sip a chilled beer to end the day , whilst the interior is truly magical , made really special by the 200 year old olive trees growing down the centre of the restaurant .

Antipasti sharing board with lightly smoked speck ham , prosciutto ham , burrata , goat ’ s cheese , sun-dried tomatoes , olives , focaccia bread and chargrilled courgettes . Perfect for two to share .
Pan-Seared King Scallops with crispy pancetta , pea purée , mint , chilli oil and pork crumb .
Mains : Rigatoni Arrabbiata with tomato , red chilli and fresh basil .
Crab Fettuccine in a rich lobster bisque , finished with butter , dill and red chilli .
Honey & Balsamic Glazed Duck Breast inspired by their trip to Modena . Served with 12-year-aged IGP balsamic , red wine jus , winter greens , creamy mash & crispy cavolo nero .
Carnivoro pizza - San Marzano tomato , three-meat ragù , Italian sausage , slow-cooked pork , pepperoni salsiccia , prosciutto ham , caramelised onion and Fior Di Latte mozzarella .
450g Chateaubriand ( for two people ) with our cacio e pepe butter , truffle mash , tenderstem broccoli , winter greens , and chillies .
Dessert & Cocktails :
Warm Chocolate Brownie served with Italian salted caramel gelato and dark chocolate sauce .
Espresso Martini - Absolut Vanilla , Tia Maria , sugar syrup , and espresso .
Pornstar Martini - Absolut Vanilia , Passoã , passion fruit syrup , pineapple , fresh passion fruit , lemon and Prosecco .
