Silk Rd Heswall is the northwest ’ s most exciting dining out sensation .
A dining experience at Silk Rd is a genuine journey of flavours from the Pacific to the Mediterranean brought about from their owners personal travels on this ancient trail .
All their food is freshly cooked by skilled chefs and they aim to deliver a WOW on every dish . Served in a tapas style , it is recommended that you order 3 dishes each .
Silk Rd have just launched a new menu which is split into different cuisines : Asian , Middle Eastern and Mediterranean . We opted for :
Asian
• BANGKOK NOODLES ( VEA ) ( VOA ) Stir fry of chicken thigh or Tofu & shitake mushroom in a garlic , ginger , sesame and oyster sauce
• KOREAN POPCORN ( VOA ) Chicken pieces or cauliflower florets fried in our special batter & served with a siracha mayo & sweet chilli sauce , topped with sesame seeds

• ROASTED VEGETABLE & PESTO GNOCCHI ( N ) ( V ) Basil gnocchi & roasted mixed vegetable topped in a fresh basil pesto

Remarks :
We really enjoyed the new additions to the menu , the management and Chefs have been clearly experimenting with some interesting ideas that fit nicely into the Silk Rd concept . We highly recommend that you give the restaurant a visit and if you ' ve not been before then you really should ! Enjoy !
