A special mention went to Rafael Willisch , who is retiring this year after spending over 20 years managing the UK division of Finsa . The Mayor of Wirral presented Rafa with some gifts and thanked him for his amazing contribution to the Wirral business community .
Danny De Brabander , a local hero on Wirral , who has raised a staggering £ 130,000 so far for local communities , also received a special award for Fundraising Champion of The Year . The award was presented by Cameron Jones , Unilever who was astonished by the resilience and positivity shown by Danny who is battling stage 4 bowel cancer .
