THERE ’ S NO PLACE LIKE HOME INTRODUCING HOME ESTATE AGENTS
We are delighted to introduce ourselves as the freshest and fastest growing independent estate agency on the Wirral . With hopes and aspirations to raise the standards of property marketing and overall levels of customer service for local homeowners and buyers we have been overjoyed to see the early positive success stories and our track record already building rapidly since opening our doors only 10 months ago .
The brainchild of two local estate agents Michael Barnes and Ricki Roberts who saw an opportunity to offer something new , something more personal , something better ! Mike and Ricki are two of Wirral ’ s most accomplished , experienced and passionate Estate Agents . With combined experience of over 30 years , they have gained unrivalled knowledge , through helping thousands of people move throughout the Wirral Peninsular .
They both understand that within any relationship and successful property move or sale , mutual trust is essential . Through delivering on their promise , they aim to gain trust from sellers , buyers and everyone involved in the home moving journey . From their beliefs and desire to provide outstanding customer service , the concept of home estate agents was born . Passionate about helping people move , they felt strongly about being able to offer an experience where the business owners have full personal involvement in the entire transaction . Ensuring that their clients have continuity in the entire process , feeling safe in the fact that their biggest asset is in the very best of hands .
As our business grows along with our market share and reputation for excellence , we have expanded our team with the addition of two highly experienced and skilled members in Amy Henshaw ( Sales Manager ) and Sue Litherland ( Sales Advisor ). Both bring a wealth of industry experience with them and have enabled our positive momentum to continue and ensure that our exceptional levels of service to our clients is maintained .
Market update : After what had been an unprecedented period of growth and buoyancy in the housing market during the two years post covid , the impact of the mini-budget fiasco in September last year brought the property market along with the rest of the UK ’ s economy to a grinding halt . We saw a significant downturn in activity over the final quarter of 2022 while mortgage rates spiked alongside the Bank of England base rate increases . In the main , sellers and buyers stalled on their plans to move as many industry experts were forecasting a property market crash on the horizon as we entered 2023 .
Thankfully what we have experienced over the first quarter of the new year has been a far more settled market as mortgage rates appear to have peaked lower than initially expected and many lenders are now reducing their fixed term deals to more attractive levels . Confidence from buyers and sellers is returning and those coming to the market with a genuine motivation to sell and realistic expectations are finding that demand from potential buyers is returning .
Within our business we have seen an 87 % increase in the number of buyers registered in Quarter 1 this year versus Quarter 4 of last year and an increase of 52 % in the number of property valuations being booked by potential new homeowners looking to sell . March was our most successful month ever since opening the agency with a record number of new listings as well as sales agreed and at the time of writing , April looks to be another step up in all round activity once again as we see the influx of seasonal Spring movers enter the market .
If you are currently in the process of selling your property or may be considering a move in the future and would like to discuss how we can help you , please feel free to contact us on 0151 625 0125 seven days a week or pop in to our office on Grange Road in West Kirby . wirrallife . com 51
