This month is all about the wine at Le Mont Blanc . Food and the wine that complements it is my passion . I have always been a spiced rum girl but I love wine , especially a nice drop of red .
I visit Majestic wine merchants in West Kirby every week and have my own bespoke tasting session , I have an open wine list in the restaurant . We think Le Mont Blanc has the best house wine list around , featuring Crescendo Pinot Grigio and Merlot along with excellent French , Californian , South African and New Zealand whites .
A wine I have been really excited about is Chapoutier Belleruche which is named after the bees and hives which thrive in their sustainable vineyards . Another couple of great wines you should try are Domaine Durieu Chateauneuf Du Pape and Baron de Baussac Carignan . We also carry some of the most beautiful pink rosè you can find , perfect for the warmer months ahead . At Le Mont Blanc , we will guide you through a choice of the best wines to suit your personal palette .
Saturdays is our a la carte menu , we end the week with the home of the roast dinners - from roast rib of beef to our family feast sharing boards - these have a whole chicken and every vegetable known to man ( and woman ).
