CHAMBER TO HOST PRESTIGIOUS CORPORATE GOLF DAY AT CALDY
Businesses in Wirral are limbering up for the 2018 Wirral Chamber Corporate Cup. This popular golf competition is being held again in partnership with Playfair Events and has sold out in record time.
The Corporate Cup takes place 12th July at Caldy Golf Course and allows competitors to experience a‘ day in the life of a professional golfer’ with Vpar live scoring, a film crew and photographers on the course capturing those special moments and shots. The event is supported through the headline sponsorship of Wirral Chamber Patron and Strategic Partners Inteb MS, NW Security Solutions and Capital Reinforcing.
There are fantastic prizes for those who can manage a hole-in-one on the day and players have a chance to win a £ 30k Lexus car, 5 Star Golfing Holiday’ s Abroad, UK Championship Golfing Weekend Breaks and an array of Taylormade golf equipment. The Corporate Golf Cup provides a relaxing day with a competitive edge. Whether it’ s for team building, networking or client entertainment this well organised day of golf mixes business with pleasure. Wirral Chamber strategic partner The Underground Training Station will provide a professional flexibility and mobility session for those golfers who want to be as prepared as possible before playing.
Playing at Caldy is one of the most rewarding golfing experiences, a superb course situated alongside the river Dee with breathtaking views across the estuary towards Hilbre Islands, the coast of Wales and acres of picturesque farmland.
Following the competition, guests will enjoy a clubhouse dinner and a prize giving ceremony to mark the events of the day. This year there is an opportunity for those who don’ t play golf but want to join the event with a number of dinner only places available. Guests will also enjoy the company of an evening speaker; legendary World Cup
winning goalkeeper Gordon Banks( pictured above). In addition to his 1966 cup winning heroics, Gordon is equally famous for‘ that save’ against Pele at the 1970 World Cup and is still regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.
