PRETTY IN PINK
The Au Natural look isn’ t the only trend that has been pulled from the runways, there are also the brilliant and bright runway colours devised to grab attention. Pink emerges as the key colour of the season and is seen across eyes, lips and cheeks for an all over pinky glow.
One of my favourite products to achieve this look is the‘ Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Pallet’ where the eyes are shaded with varying intensities of pink for a twist on the smokey eye. Available at Debenhams, Liverpool One.

GEOMETRIC EYES
Eyes are also brought to life in bold lashings of purple, aqua, green and blue, applied liberally in geometric blocks. I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of MAC cosmetics new Spring Summer collection with demo’ s from MAC Senior artist Rebecca Butterworth. Characterful, bold and colourful eyes were paired with nude lips for a statement look, while the eyes were dominated by tones of blue, green and purple. I loved the purple with iridescent pigment which was applied heavily to the entire lid, up to the brow. On the lips, brown based nudes were applied in a matte formula while skin was also matte, with cheeks gently contoured. Here are my favourite products from the launch:
