2 vacancies for Day Care Assistants . Head Cook .
Part Time : 2 x 12 hour shifts each week , starting on a temporary basis with the opportunity to move to permanent employment .
You will join our amazing team of carers at Abbeyfield and be part of our highly reputable and established home , providing non-nursing care to 33 older people .
Salary : £ 8.91 per hour Mon – Fri . £ 11.58 per hour Sat - Sun .
Salaries are reviewed every April .
Experience : Qualified in Health and Social Care to level 2 and experience in Care is preferable but not essential .
Full Time : 40 hrs Contracted to cover 5 days a week with alternative weekends .
To take responsibility for effectively managing the kitchen team to achieve the highest standards of food preparation and production as per Abbeyfield ’ s quality standards .
To effectively control and manage the food costs in line with the budget , controlling stock and portions to agree specifications . Ensure the smooth running of the shift through effective people leadership .
Salary : £ 10.24 per hour Mon – Fri .
£ 13.33 per hour Sat - Sun .
Experience : Chef : 2 years . Care Home : 1 year . All requirements are open to discussion at the interview . The position of Head Cook is open to job share .
