VARIETY BALL 2019
An annual Ball organised and hosted by
Mandy Molby and Claire Gallagher was held
at the prestigious Thornton Hall Hotel in aid
of Variety the children’s charity. The event
raised over £190K to support sick, disabled
and disadvantaged children and young
people.
The evening consisted of fantastic
entertainment from M Peoples Heather Small
supported by X factor finalist Marcus Collins
and a superb disco to dance the night away.
The fundraising highlight of the evening
was a donation of 15 original prints and one
large print number one from world renowned
Artist Mackenzie Thorpe. The funds raised
by Mackenzie’s artwork will fund a Variety
Sunshine Coach for Hilbre High school in
Wirral. Young Variety Ambassador Dante
Marvin was on hand to thank all the guests for
their support for the Ball and to thank Mandy
and Claire personally for sponsoring his new
Wheelchair that was bought from the Ball last
year.
Special thanks goes to sponsors Durastic
Seaking and Integral for their continued
support each year to the Ball, and also to The
Festive Group who decorated the room in
spectacular fashion.
The evening was hosted by Radio City DJ Pete
Price who also was Auctioneer on the night
with Ex Liverpool Football Legend Jan Molby
and CEO of Liverpool FC Peter Moore.
