THE BUTCHERS CUT

As you may already know we have recently been named as the Best
Butchers Shop in the North of England by the Butchers Shop of The Year
Awards. We were invited to the Hilton Bankside Hotel London where
the announcement was made. This was a huge achievement for us and is
testimony to the hard work, dedication and talent of all our staff and it's
something we are immensely proud of.

Whilst still celebrating our win in London we were invited to Thornton Manor
for the Wirral Life Awards where we won Gold for the Independent Food/
Drink Producer of the Year and Silver in the Retailer of the Year category!
We really weren’t expecting to do so well against such good competition; the
Wirral is home to some of the finest independent businesses in the country.
SHOP LOCAL
It's been fantastic to see so many new customers happy to be shopping
local after years of being unimpressed by the mass produced meat the
supermarkets have to offer. Firstly the quality a good butcher can offer is
clear to see and the proof really is in the eating. And I think people are
surprised at how good value it is. Really, what are you saving buying from
the big chains? A couple of quid? You can come to us and have a personal
service with all the advice regarding what cut you need and how best to cook
it by experienced Butchers and Chefs who live and breathe it.
Also you don’t have to buy a big pack of meat, if you want one chop, buy one
chop. This way you can cut down on your waste, something we all need to
do. That being said if you want a bargain or you have a big family to feed we
can cater for that too! We do all sorts of special offer meat packs.
As I mentioned in the last issue we have had a refit in the shop. This was
to focus on the larger meat packs and the convenience ready meal side of
the business. I have to say we are really chuffed with the new look and the
response from you all has been fantastic.
We have put lots of new traditional lines in such as liver & onions with
mash, minty lamb stew even oxtail stew. As well as more modern dishes like
Chorizo chicken with wedges and all sorts of different stir frys. Come and
see for yourself and we can show you around

I think its fair to say the Christmas madness is well and truly upon us. Our
order books are filling up fast so don’t leave it to late to get yours in! This year
