WIRRAL PUB RELAUNCHES WITH
BRAND-NEW MENU AND LUXURIOUS LOOK
The Anchor Inn in Wirral has undergone a significant
investment that has given the much-loved eating and
drinking destination a spectacular new look.
It has also introduced a brand-new menu – a carefully curated
collection of dishes that deliver a refreshing country dining
experience, featuring delicious flavours, inspired by the seasons,
and the best the countryside has to offer.
Whether guests fancy something from the grill – such as
heritage breed pork belly or an expertly prepared, 30 day-aged,
ribeye steak – there’s something to suit all tastes.
Showcasing the best of the season, from creamy Paris Brown
and oyster mushrooms on an English muffin to warm ginger-
poached plums with Cornish clotted cream, the new menu is
packed full of irresistible creations and comforting classics. All
freshly prepared by an expert team of chefs using the very best
ingredients.
The new improved décor of The Anchor Inn is a top to tail
transformation, taking inspiration from the UK’s most luxurious
country dining and drinking hotspots. The sophisticated décor
combines warm oranges, pinks and blues with bold patterned
wallpaper, velvet finishes and feature plants, creating an
authentic and cosy feel. A Grade II listed building, The Anchor
has a boutique style feature fireplace, as well as maintaining
the sandstone exterior. Expertly crafted furniture, eye-catching
artwork and feature finishing touches, make the pub truly one-
of-a-kind.
On reopening, the “all new” Anchor Inn cements its position on
the map as the ultimate premium destination for a memorable
evening.

To make the weekend extra special, diners will be able to enjoy
freshly shucked rock oysters and grill sharing boards, such as
Chateaubriand, for a delicious and indulgent treat. It has also
added sumptuous new deserts; including a lemon meringue
flaming Alaska and melting Ferrero hazelnut bomb.
Still offering fantastic value with its fixed price Monday-Friday
lunch offer, which includes new, freshly stone baked pizzettes,
indulgent croque monsieur or a healthy Mediterranean nourish
bowl. A brand-new brunch menu of classic favourites and
healthy alternatives will also be served from 9am on Saturdays
and Sundays.
Premium wines such as Premier Cru Burgundy, Amarone Della
Valpolicella and Rioja Gran Reserva, will now be available by
the glass using Coravin technology. A new cocktail menu has
been developed by the team, which includes classics with a
twist like the Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Cosmopolitan. Cocktail,
Champagne or Prosecco afternoon tea will also now be available
every day, perfect for celebrating a special occasion or a relaxing
afternoon.
