CHRISTMAS CONCERT
AT THORNTON MANOR
Thornton Manor was the setting for a
musical Christmas Party, guests were
invited to bring their own festive nibbles
and drinks and to enjoy an evening of live
music.
The show was opened by Radio Merseyside's
King of Swing, Asa Murphy, who got everyone
in the mood for a party, the fabulous Mersey
Boys took over and got the crowds up dancing
to some classic Christmas hits. DJ Fritz kept
the mood going for the guests and the dance
floor was packed all night.
The Walled Garden Marquee was the perfect
setting for a Christmas event as the fairy lights
make it look magical. Guests brought the
most extravagant picnics, there was smoked
salmon, rare roast beef, luxury platters of
delicious treats and plenty of Champagne to
wash it all down.
Organiser Lynne Hamilton said: "We're so
lucky to have this amazing marquee space
on Wirral, there aren't many venues that can
cater for such huge crowds. Picnic concerts
are normally so dependant on the weather so
this takes away that stress, we had a fabulous
night and everyone enjoyed the evening, we
can't wait to do it all again in the summer.
We were delighted to have Wirral Life as our
media partner for this unique event."
