IN BRIEF W BUSINESS L RECORD PROFIT SHARE FOR AUGER STAFF B&M SECURE SHREDDING SUPPORTS CLAIRE HOUSE Employees at the Wallasey-based insurance supplier Auger are reaping the rewards of the company’s profit- sharing scheme as they celebrate its best-ever year. Now for the third year running, B&M Secure Shredding has committed to donating 10% of profits from its Home Shredding service to local children’s hospice, Claire House. All employees have taken home four figure bonuses equating to between 7.5 per cent and 10 per cent of their salaries, just in time for Christmas. Founded in 1994, Auger employs more than 120 people from its headquarters as a specialist serving the insurance industry for drainage and water mains claims across the UK with more than 70 highly-qualified engineers on the ground. The specialist insurance supplier for drainage and water pipe claims have posted a record-breaking performance as the company continues to grow and take on new Insurance clients. Dave Brewster, managing director of Auger, said: “We have always shared our profits with the staff and this year I am delighted to be able to share our record performance with this exceptional team. We always go the extra mile for our customers I’d really like to thank all of the staff for their efforts, and one way of making sure their work doesn’t go unnoticed is to reward them financially.” As well as attractive salary packages and a profit share bonus, the benefits of working for the fastest growing drainage company in the UK also include a training programme for all staff through the company’s Academy, with the opportunity of qualifications in subjects including engineering, account management and IT. The confidential waste destruction service is offered to residents of the Wirral and the surrounding areas, ensuring that private data, such as bills, medical records and other confidential information is shredded securely and permanently to BS EN15713 standards and 100% recycled. We’re so grateful to B&M Secure Shredding for their ongoing support and we encourage other businesses to follow their lead.” HAINES WATTS MERGES WITH WIRRAL'S THE PRIORY PARTNERSHIP The Liverpool office of top 15 firm Haines Watts, have merged with Wirral based The Priory Partnership, which itself has become Haines Watts Wirral, as part of ongoing expansion plans. The move will geographically see Haines Watts strengthen their presence across Liverpool, Wirral and surrounding areas.
