IN BRIEF JOIN THE CHRYSANTHS FOR DICK WHITTINGTON! Dick Whittington is heading to New Brighton next month to see if the streets are paved with gold. Join Dick and his Cat for a performance full of adventure, fun, dancing and side splitting laughter as the Chrysanths Panto Society star at the Floral Pavilion. The family orientated panto is running from 10th - 13th January 2019 and is filled with local talent, dancing, comedy and all sorts of bright costumes and special effects. The Chrysanths which has been nominated five times for the best pantomime society, is the oldest in the country and was founded in New Brighton in 1918. During these difficult times a group of people got together in a garden to relieve some of the pressures of war time. The garden was filled with the scent of Chrysanths during the show, hence the adopted name of the society. Ticket prices for the show are just £12.00 with £7.50 concessions, especially kept at low prices so all families can be assured of a bumper time when they relax together, and local charities benefit too.
