Pollards Inn is a charming 16th century sandstone bar and restaurant located in Willaston Village . It boasts an exceptional private bar and dining room for your special events . Lovingly owned by villagers Cara & Jamie Kimpton for over 12 years who can assure you of a very warm welcome , delicious food , and a first-class service . Cara said : " We are super proud to have survived a turbulent two years in our industry , and we are delighted to continue making Pollards Inn one of the leading independent restaurants and bars on the Wirral . We have invested in our beautiful grounds with the addition of our Barnhouse which is heated and lit , our children ’ s outdoor adventure play area and a brand-new conservatory . We are very much looking forward to the future and it has been lovely to see familiar faces return to us this summer .
" Pollards Inn boasts one of the most beautiful beer gardens on the Wirral with extensive seating outside and under cover in our Barnhouse . Children can enjoy our newly refurbished adventure play area or , play on the meadow and enjoy the space safely in view .
" Our gastropub has a fabulous menu and for our returning guests , we have a lively specials board refreshed weekly where there is always something new and different to try . The Pollards team is headed up by Richard , Samantha and Head Chef Chris Bell . If you have a specific dietary requirement , please contact us and we will happily make something to suit .
" Private dining comes with an extra special service and exclusive menu to match ; special occasions can be celebrated in style in our ‘ Room at the Inn ’ which is enchanting with its ornate fireplaces and private bar . The room is ideal for smaller family gatherings for up to 50 guests for weddings , christenings , birthday celebrations , baby showers , wakes , corporate networking ( with full technical facilities ) and Christmas parties ."
