RESIDENTS AT LEAR HOUSE HAVE HAD A BUSY FEW MONTHS
Residents at Lear House have enjoyed an active and creative time during the last few months .
Ailsa Wright , Manager at Lear House , said : " We had a wonderful afternoon with Emma from Silk and Petal Floral Design creating our own floral arrangements using beautiful fresh flowers and foliage . It was the chance to create something beautiful and original with help and support where needed .
" We marked St Patrick ’ s Day with an Irish themed sing along afternoon with the Sandra Currie and a glass of Guinness !
" Dame Vera Lynn was remembered at a Service of Thanksgiving in March and we joined in with a singalong afternoon with Annette – lots of our favourite songs and the chance to join in with flags and tambourines .
" Our regular weekly French sessions have continued and we are building up our knowledge as well as having lots of fun along the way .
" Now that the weather is getting warmer we are planning our activities for the summer . We have a purpose built garden area accessible by lift and a garden room for refreshments . Entertainment in the garden is always popular and we have several keen gardeners who will be starting work on our flowers and plants very soon ."
