LIVERPOOL CITY REGION TOURISM AWARDS
The highly-regarded ceremony, which will take place at St George’s Hall, sees
an impressive eight of the Chamber’s members nominated in six categories
across the shortlist.
For the event, Wirral Chamber of Commerce will also sponsor the Large Visitor
Attraction of the Year Award.
Head of Communications at Wirral Chamber of Commerce
Heather Heaton (pictured right) said: “The whole team at
the Chamber is certainly excited for the upcoming awards
ceremony, and it’s a real coup for us to see so many of
our fantastic members shortlisted across such a diverse
spectrum of categories. From newcomers to Wirral’s
longest standing establishments, we’re thrilled to see not
only our individual businesses recognised on such a scale,
but to witness the borough’s profile continuing to gain
momentum across the region.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to boosting Wirral’s tourism
economy, we are also honoured to partner with the event by sponsoring
the awards’ Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category, which sees the most
prolific venues and spaces in the North West’s tourism portfolio nominated. We
wish all the businesses shortlisted on the evening the best of luck!”
