PATRONS VISIT THE
HIVE YOUTH ZONE
Prior to the grand opening, some of Wirral
Youth Zone’s capital and revenue supporters
were treated to a unique tour of the £6m facility
by young people who are set to step foot in it.
Capital supporters including Bibby Line, The
Johnson Foundation, UBS, Wirral Council
and St James’ Place Foundation joined many
of The Hive’s 20 Founder Patron’s for a night to
remember at The Hive.
Chairman John Syvret CBE, whose business,
Cammell Laird, also support the project as a
Founder Patron was one of many who received
a plaque in honour of their support from young
people.
The Hive has cost £6m to build and will cost
£1million per year to run and this will be funded
through a combination of public sector and
private sector funding. For more information
