Hi everyone,

Back on June 30th my oldest, Drew, got married. I still can't believe that he actually found a young lady that he'd rather
live with more than with his parents! Oh, well....as much as that reality is hard to accept at this point, she is a delightful
person and we fully welcome her into our family. She just has to be willing to be written about in the articles
occasionally!
Their wedding was, I would summarize, fairly non-traditional. Think back to your wedding- if you didn't elope....
Traditionally it was probably in a church, then everyone walked a short distance to the fellowship hall, where everyone
had punch and finger sandwiches made by the bride's aunt and grandmother, ate wedding cake, and after a hour or
so, took off while being pelted by rice!
Drew and Maddie had their wedding at a neutral-site outdoor "venue". He has a wood-inlaid ring; She walked down
the aisle NOT to "Here comes the bride"; and the newlyweds hustled out to their get-away truck flanked by everyone
shaking Auburn shakers!
This, however, is a great example of how the next generations set the new traditions. Like I mentioned last month how
the white composite fillings are becoming the new normal. In the next couple articles we'll talk about more new
technologies in dentistry you may be unfamiliar with. Introducing you to the next-generation tools and therapies that
will be the new traditions of care.
To your Health and Happiness,
