Do you believe families are in trouble?
Are you concerned about single mothers raising their
children alone? Do you feel like our culture supports
healthy families? Wiregrass Hope Group hopes to
build a healthy community where individuals and fami-
lies value life and thrive because of the love and grace
of Christ. Our mission is to share the hope of Christ,
promote human life, and care for people through
pregnancy resources, Biblical counseling and
relationship education.
Wiregrass Hope Group started as Sav-A-Life in 1984
to help women face unplanned pregnancies. Our
organization now includes pregnancy testing, limited
ultrasounds, and a nine-session parenting program
to help prepare mothers for parenting. Our
Fatherhood Program is designed to give dads re-
sources to help them discover effective tools and strat-
egies to be the kind of fathers their children and fami-
lies need them to be. We also help women who have
issues with past abortions.
Another strategy to help local families is offering pre-
marital, marriage and individual counseling. We also
teach students in public and private schools about
healthy relationships. Our goal is for every person to
live out God’s design for life and family.
How can you help? We need weekly volunteers to help
in our baby boutique where our clients shop with
earned points. We also welcome donations of baby
clothes, supplies, blankets, and knit booties.
Our annual fundraising banquet is November 13th.
