Ethel and Earl
After learning that her parents were in a
minor car accident, Ethel and Earl’s
daughter, Lynn, called to make sure they
were alright.
“What happened?” Lynn asked as soon as
Ethel answered the phone.
“Well”, Ethel replied, “Your father and I
were returning home from Sunday night
service and I was driving because your
daddy did not feel well because he ate too
much spaghetti.
Well, it was almost dark and raining a
little bit, Then a big ol’ deer just walked
right in front of the car, and of
course, your father wasn’t
paying any attention!”
