Ethel and Earl
Ethel and Earl just spent the last fifteen
minutes trying to decide on a restaurant that
they both can approve of and Earl’s tone and
attitude has gotten a little harsh.
Ethel, frustrated and tired said, “I don’t care
where we eat as long as it’s not at any of 10
places you just mentioned!”
A few more suggestions later, they finally agree
on a restaurant that is on the other side of town.
After a long quiet trip, they finally arive at
the restaurant and are seated. They quietly look
over the menu, as their server asks for their
order.
Earl looks at Ethel and asks her
”What will you have? Dear!”,
Ethel grins and says,
“I’m not real hungry, I’ll just have a water”
