wire & Tube China 2020 Will be Held in Shanghai as Scheduled 6 We are pleased to see that greater number of wire, cable and tube manufacturers in mainland China have resumed production after the peak of the novel coronavirus outbreak passed and their production capacity is steadily increasing. Many companies have reached out to us recently to inquire about the plans and booth reservation status of wire & Tube China 2020. As the organizer of the exhibition, we are very grateful to our industry colleagues for their care and trust in the exhibition. In 2019, China’s GDP was close to 100 trillion yuan. The sheer size of China’s economy has given it a strong ability to withstand risks. The fundamentals of China’s long term economic growth have not changed, and the impact of the COVID 19 epidemic is short term and generally controllable in China . 2020 will be the sprint year of China’s “Thirteenth Five Year Plan” and the orderly restoration of the production and living conditions, and the increasing intensity of policy adjustments will release tremendous potential and strong momentum for China’s development. Currently nearly 800 local Chinese companies have submitted their booking confirmation for this edition, and we have also received around 150 overseas applications from internationally renowned brands. These companies have stated that regular business operations will not be affected by the COVID 19 epidemic outbreak and they will participate in wire & Tube China 2020 this September. The current virus epidemic highlights the importance of structural reforms on the supply side. In the future, structural changes to public expenditure, such as increased investment in various areas of people’s livelihood, will continue to enhance economic development.
