Niehoff in Russia
Niehoff’s experience in the Russian market started
more than 30 years ago when Niehoff began to
develop first connections with Russian cable
manufacturers. Niehoff of Russia (NoR), Niehoff’s
marketing and service branch based in Moscow,
was set up in 2005 and is responsible for Niehoff
activities in the Russian Federation and neighbour
countries. NoR’s fourservice engineers, all Russian
native speakers, install Niehoff machines at customer
sites, put the machinery into operation and provide
after sales service.
Since 2008, Niehoff and NoR have been working
closely together with the All-Russian Scientific
Research and Development Cable Institute VNIIKP.

PWM’s Strip Welder Well
Received at Interwire 2019
Interwire 2019 provided good opportunities for British
company PWM to showcase its high-performance cold
pressure welding machines, according to managing
director Steve Mepsted.
“Our innovative ST40 machine, designed
specifically for welding nonferrous strip, was
on show for the first time at a US exhibition and
generated a lot of interest.
PWM’s products were presented by Joe Snee
Associates Inc., PWM’s exclusive distributor of
equipment, spares and dies in the US and Canada.

which provides a cost-
effective way to weld rod
up to 15mm diameter,
and sold the machine
during the show. The
booth was busy, we were
able to meet customers
and prospects and
discuss their projects
