VECTOR TECHNOLOGIES Announces
New Interoperable R-PHY Development
VECTOR TECHNOLOGIES showcases its
new R-PHY development, utilising MSO’s
interoperable solution to take an important
step towards evolved Distributed Access
Architecture. Over the last few months, engineers from
VECTOR TECHNOLOGIES have spent more
than 2000 hours on the CableLabs R-PHY ATP
interoperability tests in Denver. Prior to that they
participated in:
“The interoperability of our R-PHY Node platform
and the RPD Module with multiple CCAP vendors
is a key strategic assumption and goal for VECTOR
TECHNOLOGIES, ensuring that operators can be
100% certain of our path towards this solution,”
said Bartosz Kajut, President and CEO of VECTOR
TECHNOLOGIES. “In order to achieve this, VECTOR
TECHNOLOGIES has been playing an active role
in the Open RPD Initiative since the beginning,
contributing initially with Open RPD software and
later to the Advanced Test Plans at CableLabs. •

implementation of the Reference CCAP Core
Simulator, which has been demonstrated at the
US-based interops and Excentis DOCSIS 3.1 and
the Remote PHY interoperability event in Ghent,
Belgium.
