August in Europe is the holiday month, the vast majority
of people take their families on their annual trips to the
sunshine, along with 15 million others.
For us in the news room it is the slowest month of the year
for news and press releases. Don’t forget to send in your news items
before you shutdown your computer, tidy up your desk and head out to
the beaches.
Personally I will be avoiding the beaches, resorts and airports until
everyone has gone home and the children are back at school.
September brings us the Wire Southeast Asia exhibition in Bangkok, this
is a must for anyone hoping to do business in the region. Take a read of
the write up on page 4 of the magazine.
