Date : April 9 Location : Adventure Rock , Milwaukee WI
Let ' s give rock climbing a try ! We will travel to Adventure Rock in Milwaukee where their adaptive instructors will assist us in taking on their indoor rock climbing wall utilizing adaptive equipment as needed . Lunch will be at Jimmy Johns .

Catch Elephant and Piggie ' s shenanigans in their live stage show , " We are in a Play !" Lunch will be at Armonds in Arlington Heights .

Pioneer Skills
Date : April 16 Location : The Grove , Glenview
Participants will learn firsthand about pioneer life in The Grove ' s circa 1850s log home . Activities include corn grinding , carding wool , drawing water from a well , washing clothes , rug beating , building with large Lincoln Logs to create a shelter for their pet , using pioneer toys , and making a tin punch craft to take home . Lunch will be at Johnny ' s Kitchen and Tap .

Cats and Dogs
Date : April 2 Location : Slotnick Center / NSSRA , Highland Park
Today is all about our furry friends ! Let ' s grab some ingredients and make treat bags for the local shelters . Then , we ' ll spend some time visiting with therapy dogs from Canines 4 Comfort . We ' ll have lunch at Portillos in Deerfield .

Explore the stars and learn about space exploration at The Cernan Earth & Space Center on the Triton College campus . Lunch will be at Blondies Diner .
